Free Registrations for Tryouts and Open Sessions
You can now publish a free registration, so families can sign up for tryouts, evaluation days, and open sessions without entering a card.
Mark any registration as Free. It's a deliberate setting, not a $0 price, and it shows as "Free" in Admin and on your portal.
No payment step for families. Parents sign in, accept any required waivers or documents, and confirm. That's it.
Clear confirmation. The confirmation screen and email say there's no charge, with no amount, payment method, or receipt.
Everything else still works. Custom info fields, required waivers, enrollment windows, age limits, and participant limits all apply. When a free registration fills, it closes just like a paid one.
Clean reporting. Free registrations count toward registrant totals but stay out of revenue, and they're labeled separately from enrollments an admin waived.
Who it helps: clubs running tryouts and open sessions that want a real headcount and signed waivers before anyone steps on the field, without a fee standing in the way.
