Waive or Edit Any Scheduled Payment — Right From the Payments UI
If you've ever run a club, you know payment plans don't stay tidy. A family pulls their kid mid-season and asks to skip the next installment. You promise a returning member a discount but the plan was already set up at full price. An invoice goes out with the wrong amount and now the customer's balance is off.
Until now, fixing those situations meant awkward workarounds — refunding and re-billing, eating the difference, or pinging support to sort out a balance that no longer matched reality. This release fixes that. You can now adjust scheduled payments directly, the math stays correct, and every change is recorded.
Waive or change the amount on any scheduled payment
Admins can now waive an upcoming scheduled payment or change its amount right from the payments UI — no support ticket, no refund-and-rebill dance. It works across every offering type:
Registrations — skip or reduce an installment when a player leaves or you've agreed to a one-off adjustment.
Memberships — apply a discount, comp a month, or correct a plan that was set up wrong.
Invoices — fix an amount before it's collected instead of voiding and starting over.
Whatever the situation, you handle it in a few clicks where you already manage the payment.
Balances and plan totals stay accurate — automatically
The reason editing payments used to be painful is that it broke your numbers. Waive an installment and the plan total would still show the old amount; outstanding balances drifted out of sync.
Now, the moment you waive or amend a payment, the plan total and the outstanding balance recalculate. What you see in the UI is what the family actually owes — no manual cleanup, no second-guessing your own reports.
A clear change history on every payment
Every payment now carries a full record of what happened to it — each amendment and each transaction, in one place. When a parent calls asking why their balance changed, or a teammate on your staff needs to understand an adjustment someone else made, the answer is right there.
That means cleaner audits, faster support conversations, and a lot less "wait, who changed this and why?"
Where to find it
The new controls live in the payments view for any registration, membership, or invoice. Open the payment you want to adjust, choose waive or edit the amount, and the totals update on the spot. The change history is available on the same screen.
