Release: Portal Pay, Termed Memberships, and More

More Ways to Get Paid — and Less Busywork Getting There

This release is all about payments and admin speed. We widened who can actually pay you, gave memberships a way to end themselves, made duplicating an offering a one-click job, and made it easy to pull member emails into your own inbox. Here's what's new.

Anyone can pay in the Portal now — not just contacts

Until now, only a designated contact on an account could authenticate and pay in the Portal. That created bottlenecks: if the one contact wasn't around, the payment waited.

Now all users can authenticate and pay in the Portal, not just contacts. More of the people connected to an account can log in, see what's owed, and settle it — which means fewer stuck balances and less back-and-forth to get a single person to pay.

Termed Memberships — memberships that end on their own

You can now create termed memberships that automatically expire after a set number of payments. Instead of a membership that bills indefinitely until someone remembers to cancel it, you can define exactly how many payments it runs.

That's ideal for fixed-length programs sold on a recurring cadence — a set training block, a season-length membership, a limited package. Set the number of payments, and the membership closes itself out when it's done. No manual cancellations, no accidental over-billing.

Duplicate Offering — clone registrations and memberships in a click

Setting up a new season used to mean rebuilding offerings from scratch. Now you can duplicate any registration or membership and tweak the copy, instead of recreating it field by field.

Run the same programs each season? Duplicate last season's offering, adjust the dates and price, and you're done — a real time-saver for recurring programming.

Copy Emails to Clipboard — send from your own inbox

Sometimes you want to email members from your own email client, not from inside TFA. You can now copy member email addresses to your clipboard in a click and paste them straight into Gmail, Outlook, or whatever you use.

It's a small thing that removes a real annoyance — no more hunting down and hand-copying addresses when you want to send a message your own way.

How to access this

These updates are live now for organizations using TFA's payments and Portal tools — no update needed. If you're not set up to accept payments with TFA yet, reach out to your rep or contact us directly.

The Futures App is the all-in-one platform built for youth and travel sports organizations. We help coaches, club directors, facility owners, and independent trainers run their entire operation from a single app — so they can spend less time on administration and more time developing players.

The platform combines everything a modern sports organization needs: player development tools for tracking video, metrics, and drills; facility and booking management with real-time availability; payments and registration for memberships, teams, camps, and bulk invoicing; team communication through structured channels and direct messaging; and professional website hosting built for sports organizations.

The Futures App is used by clubs, academies, and training facilities across baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, football, and more. Whether you're running a 200-family travel club or a single-sport training facility, the platform is designed to grow with your organization.
